What the public record supports about iG's creation, 2024 restructuring, and current control

Invictus Gaming announced its formation in August 2011 after integrating the former CCM rosters. Contemporary and later reporting identifies Wang Sicong as its founder. In November 2024, iG announced a restructuring agreement with Young Sports and Huya. Young Sports founder An Jie subsequently said the two investors acquired 80% of the club and moved the LPL slot and iG brand into a new operating entity.
